It’s no secret that our minds and the way we think influences a major part of our success or failure.
You are what you think you are. If you think more of yourself there will automatically be MORE of a better you.
If you want to accomplish your big goals and dreams but you keep finding yourself doubting your abilities, not believing in yourself, having a low self esteem and having negative self talk with yourself: it’s time you write your very own “sell yourself on yourself advertisement”
Think for a moment of all big multinational businesses or corporations that you know. They are always constantly self promoting. Even though they are already making millions in profits they still continue to market themselves daily on multiple platforms. They resell you, and resell you, and resell you. They do this to make sure they are always at the top of your mind and their sales don’t drop.
Everyday I interact with half alive people who are not sold on their own selves. They lack self respect and belief for their most important product- themselves. This makes them feel like nobodies, they feel small, unmotivated and unimportant. The sad news is that they will never be able to accomplish success or the vision for their lives feeling like this about themselves.
People that feel this way need to be re-sold on themselves. They need to realize that they are a first class person. To do this they need an honest and sincere belief in themselves that could only come from deep within their heart.
To accomplish this I recommend you build yourself a “sell yourself on yourself advertisement” to build up your self esteem.
Here’s how you do it:
- Ask yourself what are your best qualities and don’t be shy or hold back.
- Put these points down on paper in your own words. Talk to yourself and be very direct.
- Practice reading your description of yourself at least once a day in front of a mirror. Put your body and emotions into it. Say it with determination and grit.
- Read it before you tackle anything that demands courage, every time you get down and keep it handy at all times.
Do not sabotage your own success by thinking that this would not work for you. Stop practicing limiting belief thoughts or listen to average people who would never accomplish success.
If you still find yourself doubting the soundness of this exercise ask the most successful people you know what they think of it and then re-adjust your thinking
